Tune: Southwell
('Lord Jesus, think on me')
Psalm 63 v.1-5
********
O God, you my God are
You be near, and not far
Early will I seek you, my soul
Thirsts for you, make me whole
My flesh longs for you here
O do to me appear
I long as in dry thirsty land
To see your guiding hand
A land, no water left
Yet I not be bereft
But I long to see your power
And glory every hour
For I have them so seen
In sanctuary have been
And too your loving-kindness be
Better than life to me
So shall my lips praise you
I will bless you anew
Will bless you while I live, and raise
My hands to your name praise
My soul it shall be sure
Satisfied with your store
Abundantly you will provide
Praise to you I not hide

Wet soggy land down here, still need his hand though.
Thanks 2.
is this an early one that's popped up late, or a late one reasonably on time
Thanks N. An early one that's popped up late. I forgot about it while writing 1,000further poems or more. Doh!
God got pretty cheesed off, according to Jeremiah 23 when he found out, didn't he? So I think you are right, don't hide, I think you should do a runner....!!!
Did ya meet old Jeremiah in person, as Goldfinch and I did, being millions of years old ourselves? lol
Wot happened?
We met old Jeremiah in person! He had some messages of judgement for the people, but also to encourage them to turn back to God.
Truly beautiful.
Thanks T.
Always love your work!! Hope you had a good weekend!!!!! Be good to KP ☺️
