She was a Hollywood star?
she lived in the west end
in the last house on St Michaels road
I know because I lived in a flat opposite
her beauty was undeniable
at least, to me
a beauty with eyes like ten carat diamonds
every day making her debut
on the streets of London
somedays I used to observe the drivers on the road
rubber necking just to get a glimpse of her
after all,
she did have a certain glow about her
her eyes, although they sparkled
there was a sense of great pain inside them
painted tears on her cheeks
even though they weren’t really there
I could see them, even from afar
one day out of nowhere
we bumped into each other
her painted tears nowhere to be seen
just a magnificent smile
she hugged me
and just then I knew…
she was actually my Angel.

Your Angel will be forever with you Teddy.
Andy
I always hope so dear Andy, thank you. 🌹
Dear Teddy, we all need an Angel in our lives. Your beautiful poem also brings in the city of my birth and early childhood memories. Plenty to be thankful for. Have a happy Thursday.
And you always bring the most beautiful vibes dearest Cassie, plenty to be thankful for my dear friend, so true and thank you so much 🌹
You are too kind Teddy 💐
I love surprise endings and this one caught me off guard. But as all guardian angels are really just a figment of yourself the beauty and sadness become more poignant and believable. May all your sad days become happy and tears of joy. i loved the piece
Thank you so much dearest sorrenbarret. 🌹
