Portrait of A Wild Garden
I wasted so much of spring
thinking about
starting work on the garden,
before I knew it ..
Between the bees, the birds
and the summer ..
They had all, beaten me to it ..

You done that garden yet....?!
No, I went camping instead
They will do that. I could use some birds and bees. Good stuff.
..................................................... Thanks Thomas 👍
Procrastination is my middle name......
Plus I have an abiding preference for an unmanicured garden.
Unblushingly confessional in tidy form, , , , ,
Your folks had a great sense of irony didn't they .. thank you Dave
Not sure about my folks.... unless the irony was in producing me... only later did they work out what to call me....
They certainly do so in my garden Neville.

Good to hear, but just as I imagined .. Neville
There is something rather lovely about a wild garden and it certainly attracts the birds, bees and butterflies. Maybe relax, gardening is hard work. Nothing wrong in watching the world drift by now and then. Good Saturday morning to you Neville.
Thanks Cassie .. & good mane my friend .. I have a feeling my garden is wild because I have tended to ignore it crying out for attention so far this year ..
Rush to get mine done not to be floating in rain water for the next month 🙃
...................... Snap .. it's been dreadful hasn't it .. Ta for stopping by mate much appreciated 😎👍
Upside down here, thanks for the kick up the bum.
You are more than welcome
LOL-Spring beats us to it! I had to visit for a while and see that the “bees and the birds” are still busy doing their thing. May the wind spread your seeds (of poetry) in all forms of wild gardens…
My word, what a treat .. so good to see you here my friend .. I trust you are well and your world is being kind to you .. it feels like an age .. Neville
Thank you my respected poetry buddy! It’s a good feeling to visit…
