Machine's voices steal, returning accuracy unreal
Can't know if the show is actual or no
Imperfections, are not the goal, but give music its soul
From analog to digital sound loss, not original
Pitch correction is the direction
Consternation with reverberation
Special effects is what one expects
Lip sync rinky-dink no one detects
No concern about quality only frivolity without defects
No technique so to speak, just the beat
Tiny speakers but do they match your sneakers?
Sound quality devoid, am I the only one annoyed?
Sound engineer larceny overlaid harmony
auto-tune leaves the listener immune
to a song that is just plain wrong
songs today not the same as yesterday

Fantastic write (a bit hard for me in that style)
Although this maybe true many musicians do not and the soulful sound of their voices far out way those that auto tune! Just need to know where to look.
Again. Fantastic flow! Keep up the write
Much peace and respect
Thank you so much for the read and most generous words of encouragement. They are most appreciated. Yes you are right there are a few that hold out but it is the industry that often makes the choice even after the artist is dead and gone.
They can try it on
But the future ain’t cylon!
A trillion calculations a second is fast
Still living in the past
Thanks for the review and comment it is most appreciated
So true, even worship songs aren't the same today, as they were yesterday, Good write Soren!
Thanks for the read and words of understanding they are appreciated
I don't think you can beat acoustic.
Thanks for the read and comment acoustic or electric altered sound is not real to me.
Such true words soren, it is so good to hear proper music played in the notes the artist gives us.
In jazz there is never a wrong note as it is the note you wanted to play at that time!
Andy
Thanks so much Andy for the read and encouragement. My love of music is enhanced by trying to play it on multiple instruments and sing it on a sorry instrument so I know how hard it is to make good music and how gifted and dedicated one must be to produce it. To have all this dismissed by a generation without appreciation on speakers that sound like it was played on a pie tin upsets me.
Are my songs today not the same as yesterday - me singing, that is. Or was my singing always terrible? lol.
