Tune: Coe Fen
('How shall I sing that majesty?')
********
Lord, may my heart your dwelling place
Be, come to every race
Give repentance, spiritual light
Darkness clear from our sight
And open ears to hear you true
And thus to follow you
Sensing, sensitive may we be
Your guiding footsteps see
Here by your grace, your salvation
Shown to every nation
You who know the hearts of all men
All children all women
Remind, refresh us, forgiveness
You bring us, us do bless
Sharing with us your love, mercies
Working as how you please
Peace, peace, my heart, and quiet mind
Rest in Christ you shall find
In faith help us to trust in you
And come to you anew
Leas us your way, your paths be plain
That we shall see again
Clearly, and so to you praise give
In you we move and live

He certainly searches the heart.
Thanks 2. A bit of a tricky hymn tune there! heehee. Took me a while to learn it.
He searches the mind too? Nothing in my mind until a light bulb says 'Idea!' lol
Now you have me slightly worried!
This is probably a fine hymn poem
Thanks N. Yes probably, though I can't say the title after a gin or three - prosperoush preshench - good acting there from me, innit? lol.
How does Fido feel about being left out? It says every man and woman but not dog. I think dogs are nobler than most people. lol
Thanks SB. Aww, I should have said 'every creature'. Humans are 'creatures' too (created beings), thought the word is used somewhat derogatory of humans, as in 'you wretched creature, you'. KP is turning into some sort of mutant creature - an old trout like being. lol.
Good one Orchi.
Thanks Gold
