Well, here we go again,
Another flaming election!
Everyone saying
We will do this FOR YOU!
We will do that FOR YOU!
Knocking on our doors
Telling us
We need to vote for them
And not for others,
I will answer them all the same,
Tell them that people died,
Died to give us a vote,
A secret vote.
So I don’t tell anybody,
Don’t tell anybody who I vote for.
All the time in my long life
I have not told anyone.
So here we are,
Another General Election
Where we vote for politicians,
Politicians to run the county.
I only have one thing to say,
To say about that,
“How do you know,
Know when a politician is lying?”
“Their lips move!”

Consider yourself lucky, Andy. In Oz Federal elections are three years apart and NSW State elections four. Compulsory to vote in both. So just rest easy - you are not that hard done by at a non compulsory five years...
PS: And if you wanted change earlier, you could always start a revolution........ 😂

🤣 oh my, I watch it all from a far thank goodness, I know all my old mates in the UK voted for Johnson and I know now that all are gutted, sunak has used the last pennies of the governments funds and now hasn't got the balls to keep going, that's obvious to anyone, he already knows how deeply disappointed the British public are with the state of the country not to mention our incredible NHS in ruines. Apparently now the Tories want you all to stock up on Tin food and water. Wow times I could never even imagine 🌹 my rant lol 😆

Well said Andy. What strikes me as odd is that instead of preaching about how they will address the world problems, they throw each other under the bus and point fingers at each other. A lot of lips moving that doesn't amount to much of anything at all.
