Siren

sorenbarrett

Childhood vision I wished would stay

You a dream that faded away

A projection of the past

Wind born scents don't last

Born in the breath of night

Mermaid seduced, on wings of flight

Tempest torn away from me

Held safe deep in the belly of the sea

Face of an angel with a fish tail

Top of a woman below scale

Carried away on waves gone

Your memory in the wind carries on

Your imagery how magnificent. And your theme as usual is just gorgeous. 🌹 I'd say she was pretty perfect. 🌹

Thank you Teddy as always you are too kind. A childhood dream that became reality in many ways.

Is KP the face of a fish with an angel tail - a trout, that is?! lol.

Thanks Orchi. I have never heard of such a beast but there must be one somewhere in those books of mythology.
