    Sadly this is it. In a world full of greed. Tax everything till the pips squeak.The rich grow richer while the poor starve. A very meaningful write Soren, a fine composition. All good wishes.

      Thanks so much Cassie for the read and kind words of support. Thomas Jefferson once said that things should be taxed only one time but I suppose that in our era of high expectations this would mean that there would be little public works.

      Buggered……. if I know…. Or rather (just asking) why don’t mining plus other very large and powerful industries and corporations pay little or no tax? While (as you point out, Soren) the relatively little ‘uns get screwed?
