The Devil comes a courting.

David Wakeling

Don’t call me Satan or The devil just call me friend,
You’re gunna have to deal with me in the end.

Now Miss Pinetree you seem to be having a baby,
Time to bargain with your old Friend.
You know we can organise to have it taken care of.

“I don’t have any money or valuables.
What could you possibly want from me Satan?”
Oh God help me.

Don’t call me Satan or The devil just call me friend,
You’re gunna have to deal with me in the end.

Mr Petree, I’m pretty certain you are married,
And yet you are sleeping with other woman,
Time to deal with everybody’s old friend.

“No I promise I’ll go back to my wife.
I’ll explain everything.
Please leave me alone Satan.

Don’t call me Satan or The devil just call me friend,
You’re gunna have to deal with me in the end.

Oh teenagers put those knives away,
You can’t hurt me I’m your best buddy.
Time to pay up to your old friend.

“Keep away you lunatic,
We don’t take no orders from nobody.
Get you behind me Satan”

Don’t call me Satan or The devil just call me friend,
You’re gunna have to deal with me in the end.
