The Untimely Death of a Wonderful Soul

Teddy.15

If one likes to keep hopelessness

and defeat in a wallet in their pocket

  and whom seek comfort from

the Raven

 rather than an Angel

I cannot help but wonder

does it simply demonstrate

that anything that wants to die

is surely already dead?

Such a strong write here Teddy. You can wallow in misery or do your best to catch the sunlight. I know what I prefer. The ravens I associate with the dark and bloody history of the Tower of London. Give me the light and the angels every day. Such a meaningful write with sage advice in it too. Have a beautiful Sunday dear Teddy. ๐ŸŒน

Dear Cassie, I actually have you and Melvin to thank for this freshly written this morning, take it as a massive compliment as it is, to both of you, if we cannot inspire eachother then we wouldn't be great writers. Thank you with all my heart, I love the comparison to the tower of London it's obviously in my genes, thank goodness. Happy Sunday dearest of Poet's ๐ŸŒน

Most interesting as a concept and its wording enhances it. " anything that wants to die is surely already dead" Nicely done.

Powerful work. Yes, hope springs eternal and comes in the morning. I had many a hopeless night, thank God that is over. This spoke to me.

Well, we cannot let those things keep us in a prison of our own minds even if it's how we feel and through no fault of our own, it can make us who we are or break us, fabulous you made it through dearest Thomas, the best people in the world are those who had to learn for themselves. ๐ŸŒน

A strong voice for the light as opposed to the dark. Your conclusion is spot on.
As for me I'm with you all the way. Give me hope, life and the light over despair, darkness, and death, anytime. Enjoyed this inspiring poem. - Phil A.

Such true words Teddy, I often know that Angels are with me as they are with you.
