Trusting in Christ after you heard

The gospel, the true word

Of your salvation, then too you

Received the Spirit new

 

In Christ after you so beleived

The Spirit you received

And were sealed by Him, for he is

The Spirit of promise

 

He the deposit, down payment

From God to us is sent

First part of our inheritance

Taste of what follows hence

 

Given until full redemption

Of each God's daughters, sons

We His purchased possession be

To praise of His glory
