Excess Baggage

Neville

Excess Baggage

She says

that she knows

what

she wants but

she

doesn’t know,

does she,

not yet anyway ..

She say’s

she can and she

shall but

then, she never

does,

does she ..

She swears she

will spit

it all out quite

soon perhaps ..

Well

maybe she will

one day ..

Or at least she

wants

to eventually,

perhaps ..

But for now it’s

way too

heavy and raw

and too

fucking thick to

spit out

in one sitting ..

After all

said and done,

she just

doesn’t know ..

Who,

where or what

she might

well become

without it in

tow ..

And all safely

stowed

away in the hold ..

Damn straight you describe the struggle really well, I read it in the context of a fresh trauma....

I am as yet undecided whether your use of English is better than our local resident hamsters, or not .. but on this occasion will thank you for being off course .. Neville
