Bye the age of five she was playing,

Entering the world of music

Enjoying the piano.

Going on into the world of jazz

Intriguing all with her playing

Everlasting wonder of music.

 

A lady unknown to me

During my life until that day,

A piece by her was played on the radio

I now listen to her records so often,

Released for over sixty years.

          As they are to me soren, I have been listening to music for seventy odd years and I still say to people that the more I get to know about music the more ignorant I realise I am.
