My husband came home from work

he'd just won a holiday for two
In a luxury caravan on the Isle of white
in February
I smiled
and immediately went to my office
to do some research.

Looks like a nice place but February?
A poem that in its brevity still is able to bring a surprise ending that brings a sense of joy to the soul in its comic appeal.

I don’t know what a luxury caravan looks like inside, dear Teddy, but I do know that February on the IOW is going to be pretty chilly. I wouldn’t fancy the crossing by boat in choppy seas either:) Was this the first prize? Lol. Made me smile anyway. 🌹

We are going tom the Isle of Wight at the end of this month Teddy, then August, then October, then January and then March at least that is all we have booked so far!
