Oh no! A blip again
I don't how far I will get with this one
In a hymn it says
'Oft in danger, oft in woe
Onward Christians, onward go'
Keep going on, going through
Whatever your situation - or others may be
That you are concerned about
Some - even many - trust to a God, a belief
Whether as a Rock (as in the video)
Or to call on in 'emergencies'
Or anything in-between
I'm not too keen on modern songs
Though many have real spiritual truths in them
Pointing us to God - or 'god' - or some 'being'
Above being only human
There's prayers and supplications
'Supplications' being short, at-the-moment prayers
Giving ourselves or others
Some 'supply' - God's grace, strength, etc.
We need not struggle on only in our own strength.....

Never mind orchi, you can always have another go tomorrow.
It seemed for this non believer that you were attempting to explain, explore and for that I liked your non dogmatic approach.
Go, tell me I've misinterpreted you now....
Thanks Dave. The only dog-matic one around here is probably Fido! lol.
Your poem encompases all who believe in something, and that is a beautiful sentiment. We are all one, no matter where we seek comfort. Great write my friend.
Thanks Bella. Oops I may have said thanks Blip - but not to insult anyone! lol.
Belief is within each one of us and we each have our own way, following organised religion is a farce. I used to be part of the christian belief but once I realised it was untrue my life opened up into a new place which is much better.
You do realise that Jesus has only been written about outside the bible by one ancient author.
Andy
Thanks Gold.
