Places of Peace

Tune: Dove of Peace

('I come with joy to meet my Lord')

Parts of Psalms 55 to 58

********

55 v.22

Upon the Lord cast your burden

You he shall sustain then

He shall the righteous never

Suffer to be moved e'er

55 v.6

Though times I wished for wings of dove

To take off, fly above

Troubles and trials escape, be blest

Then I would be at rest

57 v.1

I cry to the Lord God, mercy

Show me, hear now my plea

For my soul it does trust in you

Under your wings safe too

57 v.1

While these troubles last here i stay

You my refuge each day

And night, until calamities

Be gone, o'erpast I see

58 v.7

My heart, O God, is on you fixed

My faith, with none else mixed

I will sing and give praise to you

With peace you me endue

A hymn of protection and the peace that goes with the faith that one will be protected. Another good one Orchi.
