Equality

sorenbarrett

Bitter or sweet no salt for the meat
Politically incorrect any seasoning
Differences we meet we must treat
as equality without reasoning

The blind you'll soon find
trained as airline pilots
Musicians deaf, without taste a chef
grossly obese writer of diets

Paraplegic football players
Pedophiles in cloths of pediatricians
Visual spatial deficit surveyors
Women sperm donors, to meet their ambitions

In graveyards the dead no longer able to be confined
Age discrimination for porn stars over sixty five
Student grades not fair to be defined
Criminals, who's liberty you can't deprive

Equality on equal ground
without handicap or advantage
By evolution we are bound
let's not try it to bandage

That hideous word 'handicap'. Reminds me of a cartoon character 'Andy Capp' too.
Also 'bachelor' and 'spinster' conjure up horrid pictures to me. lol.

Thanks Orchi I remember Andy Capp shows my age again.

Good fun write which is very amusing, Soren, but not exactly in conformity with reality.....😀

Thanks Dave poetry is seldom reality so I took a little poetic license to vent emotions of privileges given that seem absurd to nature that puts us all on an even playing field. I just think nature has more experience at what is good for all. Thanks for the read and jolt back to reality
