Tune: Leibster Jesu

('Dearest Jesu, we are here')

Parts of Psalms 10 to 13

**********

10 v.12-14

Arise, Lord, lift up your hand

Forget not humble of each land

Wherefore do wicked they say

You will not bother, will delay

Yet you see all mischief and spite

With your hand you do it requite

11 v.7

For the righteous Lord He be

And He loves righteousness, here see

His countenance does behold

The upright, the sheep in His fold

His face turns to on them bright shine

Such do their lives to Him align

12 v.6

Teh words of the Lord are pure

Trusting in them we can be sure

They are as silver, 'tis tried

In furnace, and He does preside

Over His words, purified they

Be seven times, e'en perfectly

13 v.5-6

I your mercy have trusted

In your good way you have me led

My heart in you shall rejoice

I shall sing to you with my voice

Because you have bountifully

Dealt with me, I delivered be
