I often, hang out in the park

in spring, summer and fall.

To this park bench I would embark,

this pact is protocol.

I often, find nothing amiss.

The restrooms are like new.

Convenient if I need to piss,

or smoke a joint or two.

```

I often, when I am not broke,

buy a six pack of beer.

I always give ole Matt a toke.

It puts us in high gear.

```

I often, take my pussycat,

along with me each time.

Matt likes to sit upon my hat.

the view was just sublime..

```

I often, bring peanuts with me,

to this same spot each day.

Pigeons like em immensely.

They just can't stay away.

```

I often, will wait quietly

and sit there very still.

As I drop Matts leash silently.

He'd lunge in for the kill.

```

I often, bring a gunnysack.

At least ten Matt would catch.

Deed done we'd head back to our shack.

And cook the whole dang batch.

```

I often praised Matt, them's the facts.

This pussy's my best friend.

Without him there would be no snacks.

We're buddies to the end~
