- Comment from author about the poem: The Monotetra form was created by Michael Walker, It has a mono rhyme scheme in each stanza. It has 4 lines per stanza, 8 syllables per line. In the last line of each stanza, 4 syllables are repeated as if in an echo, a little refrain... Each stanza can have a different rhyme, but, all 4 lines within each stanza must rhyme...

Mason: Don't mention "rainbow" to me! Way back in the seventies the rainbow was unambiguously a peace symbol (I should know - I participated in many peace marches, although my participation seems to have made zero difference) subsequently it's been nicked...........
