Focus Ahead.

Things happen in our lives,

Many of them we cannot do

And seem to stop us,

Stop us moving forward.

So we need to move forward

And look beyond what we cannot do,

And focus on that which we can.

We will then go ahead in life

And reach that place for which we aim.

      We had an ex-military type Vicar, though middle-aged. Not really stiff upper lip, though at his farewell sermon (valedictory) he said 'Look onwards and upwards!'
