Enjoy the journey and kick the cat out

Poetic Dan

Another new chapter of my life, I've finally taken the right action and stopped just trying to push pass pain.

Hopefully now I know crohn's is my predicament I can make the changes that's needed so I can get back to really fully living.

Nothing prepares you for random sets of minutes passing out

It's so hard not to struggle with what goes on all night

Catch 22 when sleep is what's needed to heal too

If you don't get driven mad by all the beeping going off

Always someone suffering more trying to just breathe on their own

Blessed by each angel that's choice is to help others get well, each time they give me hope that their always be light in this world.

  • Comment from author about the poem: This was written and posted on the 7th of June but on my Instagram and fb. From that date not only did my boy get born but I went back into hospital... he's now 13 days old and I'm 7 days into my recovery! Still in hospital but not losing any more weight and hopefully be back home before the weekend! Have a wonderful day! Much peace and respect

      Good wishes Dan.
Aww, not remove the cat literally, unless one has some allergy to them or something. They can be comforting to us. We have two cats!
I might say instead 'Kick the "demons" out', but rarely is that literal, thankfully.

Ha ha...I don't think the hospital was a place for the cat my friend. Appreciate the wishes and your time.

Aww lol. Some Hospices allow pets for comfort. I was The Birdman. Someone bought me in to hospital in a cage for patients to see. I could not fly away! Doh!

Such a great attitude dear Dan, you can share your Crohn's fame with Anastacia, she is a famous artist who has always been very vocal about her journey, you are not alone. So happy to know you are on the mend. 🌹

Good day to you and I shall give that a look up! I'm having a bit of a wobble at this very moment but they found out yesterday my body is not doing what it should with the help of steroids! I'm one of the unique ones and they are cutting me straight off it!
I can definitely feel the difference but this is the way it needs to be for me.
            Thank you again
