Studying The Flaming Obvious!

Goldfinch60

Have these people nothing to do

Except investigate the obvious

Costing thousands of pounds!

But no, they go their costly way!

This time discovering why owls

Can fly in silence.

All they need to do was ask

Any birdwatcher, even me.

I have known practically all my life

That owls fly silently

Because their feathers are so soft

They don’t disturb the air.

Can I be paid for this?

  • Comment from author about the poem: Apparently scientists have been examining why owls can fly silently and they have discovered something that I have known for almost sixty years, as any self-respecting bird watcher would. The softness of owls feathers do not disturb the air so they can fly upon their prey in absolute silence.

🤣 I thought it was because they had batteries included? But then one would have to research why their feathers are so soft? Do they use lenor? 🤣 And if their feathers are.so soft makes them silent, who scratches their heads when they get itchy? 🤣 But yes I'll give you one million pounds. 🌹

hey probably use their claws to scratch Teddy but that is another project for someone so when I receive the million pounds I shall look into it. 😂🤣🌹

How are the widows and orphans going?

    • Doggerel Dave

Owl's feathers may not disturb the air, but this information certainly disturbed me, Andy.
I shall view your answers to Teddy's questions with a rare intensity in order to stabilise and return to a world I know and understand......

Sorry for the disturbance Dave but some of these so called experts don't see the flaming obvious.
