Their Lips Move.

Goldfinch60

Well it is over!

All the bullshit has finished

And we will be relieved.

The election has finished,

A new bunch now rules,

Rules the country.

I wonder what they will do?

You can never trust them

No matter who wins,

As how do you know,

How do you know when,

When a politician is lying.

I’ll tell you how,

Their lips move!!

Argh! So it's still true, whoever rules?

    • Goldfinch60

      Yes Orchi, very true.

Doh! What can we do then?!

      • Tom Dylan

Oh yes, good point well made.

Spot on. A circus with too many clowns only interested in looking after themselves. Am I optimistic for the future of my grandchildren? Sadly not Andy. Good rainy morning.

        • Goldfinch60

Thank you Cassie, I totally agree with you, what is going to happen in their future.

          Andy

Andy you said bullshit 🤣 thank goodness the Tories are out, they ruined our country, I can only hope the first things on the list to fix are the NHS and the British transport I have a very long list and I don't even live there, if I see Johnson or farage i have my frying pan in my handbag. I'm very happy that Theresa may got a peerage though she was one of the true passionate Tory politicians ❤️ it's a grim job to take and I wish the British public much hopefully good guidance and better leadership

Go Teddy, Go!! I admire your involvement. I may be cynical about politicians but know that there are greater forces powering our Society.
That said, I’m aware that during a long and chequered life, politicians of different colours have had profound consequences on the path I have been able to take – good and bad..
And you’ve named names! Love it - Thanks.

            • Goldfinch60

Teddy and Dave, you have both mad profound statements to my words and I am most grateful.

              Andy

You are admirably stalwart and good hearted, Andy.

Even though we no longer participate living in England we are still positively in love with our home. I won't go on but you both know that for me Brexit was very hard to swallow especially as I changed my life for the better without stress.or bureaucratic problems as we were in a legal.agreement, travelling was simply easier, and its for our children that i wanted free movement, as I myself experienced, I came home in 2021 and the attitude had simply changed not for the better, strikes everywhere shops closed down hotels no longer offering service with a smile, the Tories in the end were trying to send migrants to a dictator in Wrawander where they were sure to.live worse than the original country they escaped from, moreover the British tax payer copping the bill, to pay a bad man his steak.and villa. Sorry I just had to respond 😞 but now at least my most beloved country has made a stand and even though it's blind hope it's better than the corruptions of a failed Tory party. No more knives no more misery no more food banks I want to see my beloved country as it once was. The NHS should be giving medals to all their staff for what they've had to put up with through COVID and so on. I hope Boris Johnson never ever gets close to British politics again nor any of his cronies.and that my dear friends is my very own speech in humanity, I'll go back to looking out onto the Tuscany scenery if you don't mind. ❤️

Although I don’t speak French there are phrases in the language which speak to a situation. And here “Le moment de vérité reportage” more than covers it I think.
Good for you, Teddy. You’ve great when you’ve got the needle about something really important.

                    • Goldfinch60

Great words Teddy and so very true. I to would be happy to look at the Tuscany scenery but I am also happy wandering through the Malvern scenery.

You have got it Andy but sometimes their hands move with a pen and lies come out of that ink as well.

                      • Goldfinch60

                        So true soren, thank you.

Oh, it may not be a perfect world, but it's far ahead of whatever is in second place. It takes a total effort from all involved to have a country that runs well. - Phil A.

                        • Goldfinch60

So true Phil but they seem to be trying to pull the world down with their greed.

                          Andy

Hi Andy - I knew it!!

                          • Goldfinch60

I think we all do Dave.

                            Andy
