Look at
them gather
at the gallows.
That's entertainment.
Monkeys sell
popcorn, and do
tricks, dressed in
sailor suits.
You bought your
tickets,
Now enjoy the show.
The crowds get bigger.
Everyone loves a
good tragedy, except
the one being hanged.

Good write Thomas.
Andy
Thank you.
It's ghoulish, especially in medieval days. Would we actually stay to see one hanged - and even chopped up?! It's ghastly.
Yes, it's said of the story of the prodigal son - it was all good news, except for the fatted calf. Doh!

Thanks, Tom. Much appreciated.
