Apathy.

Goldfinch60

You see them in all walks of life,

Bossing people around,

Making them do the things for them,

With force, pain and misery,

But if you react they have won.

All they want to see is the hurt in you,

If they see nothing they have lost.

So try to treat each occasion with apathy,

As apathy can be a weapon

Which they cannot understand.

Thanks Gold. I would have retired a year earlier, as i was unemployed anyway, but the retirement age was raised. But when did us two retire - being millions of years old? lol.

Good advice, Andy. Easy to say hard to do.

Thank you Jerry, it only needs thought.

Maybe, on occasion, someone needs to be told......

Words of wisdom, so well said, and loved the musical performance.

                  Thank you Bella.

The music shows that jazz is with the young.

If apathy is a defense, one could become a very powerful person, just by not caring about anything. A very thoughtful poem, A pleasure to read. - Phil A.

                  • Goldfinch60

Thank you Phil, apathy does not mean not caring, I care but there are so many idiots who want their own way nowadays and they do not care for anybody except themeslves.

I shall try that on my wife.

                    • Goldfinch60

Not a good idea in my humble opinion 2781.

                        Wise words.

Use it carefully, it ca also deceive you. Nice work though.

                          So true Dan, thank you.
