Witness Of The Word

orchidee

Tune: Sandys

('Teach me, my God and King')

Psalm 119 v.145-149

**********

I cried with my whole heart

Sought you, that be my part

Hear me, O Lord, I will keep your

Statutes for evermore

I cried to you, Save me

I your testimony

Shall keep, I rose before morn's light

Cried for help, do me right

I hoped in your word great

My eyes they in the state

Of openness through watch of night

You ever in my sight

I may not all night sleep

But meditation keep

In your word, hear my voice for you

Are loving, kind, and true

O Lord, do me revive

And in you I shall thrive

Your judgements and your justice be

Done all acceptably

Words to truly meditate upon my friend.

                • orchidee

Thanks Bella. Erm, when I said I may not sleep all night (verse 4), it don't mean we have to stay up 'all night, every night'. KP don't need her beauty sleep though. She may as well stay awake all night. lol.
