The perfect leader does not seek to lead
others follow in his dust
The perfect hero by self not decreed
does what he must
A wise man speaks with the tongue of a child
simplicity is his game
True love is not salted but sweet and mild
wild animals it will tame
If there was a god it would not be a man
it would be life giving like water in an ocean
A perfect poet leads fearlessly with no plan
spewing love and life from the mouth of emotion

It's a gift.
Thanks so much for the review and yes I think it is.
Well poemed there, Soren. Enjoyed very much.
Leadership (and I feel that is only part of your piece) is central to what is sometimes referred to as the ‘great man theory of history’ hopefully not in there somewhere (even if only subconsciously….)
Thanks so much Dave. Yes you keyed in it was leadership that started this piece. Appreciate the read and encouragement.
Good write SB.
Thanks Orchi, I appreciate it

Wise men indeed speak with the tongue of a child. Sometimes the result, like now, is poetry. Nice work.
