My Favourite Colour Is Blue

The colour yellow 
brings me bad luck
I can't tell you why
 it just does 
I have never actually
liked it
as a shade
I've never purchased anything yellow 
and once I dreamt 
of a yellow fiat panda 
running me over 
 
I do love sunflowers though 
I love the sunshine warm on my cheeks 
and bright yellow daffodils 
in spring.

    Sounds like you sometimes like the colour yellow lol .. I like the colour blue too tho i think one of my favourite colours is purple .

      In the US the term yellow means cowardly, also yellow ribbons were used as tokens to express loss in war for the victims or to bring back prisoners or the lost. Although bright as the sun it is not my favorite color either I prefer blue. mLoved your write friend.

        Yellow is the colour of my true love’s hair, in the morning. Can you remember Donovan singing that Teddy. Yellow is not a colour I would ever wear, but I love buttercups and sunflowers and of course daffodils in spring. Such a lovely bright write. That yellow fiat though!!!! What a nightmare. 🌹

            I vacillate between precisely those two colours, Teddy.
            “Tie a Yellow Ribbon Round the Ole Oak Tree” always gets to me, while blue with all its variants wins most of the time.
            Yes, you can write about anything………

              As I write this, I'm sitting here in my yellow shirt, not because it's yellow, but because it is most comfortable.
