It should be clear god doesn't interfere
shame, judge, punish or blame
is deaf to pleas, has no ear
impartial, all treated the same
Doesn't favor one over another
Is kind and accepts each as they are
Believer or not, everyone's a brother
Peaceful, doesn't sanction war
Doesn't interfere with free will
Is merciful, will not hate or berate
Won't intervene to save or kill
With patience will wait, shares their dinner plate
Never commands
Doesn't build a wall
Understands
Leaves the door unlocked for all
God is warm in a winter storm
in the summer to please a cool breeze
providing shade from the scorching sun
Gives rest to all when their day is done

He's definitely not the problem
Thanks for the read and comment it is appreciated
It is differing religions which cause the problem and the people who arenโt tolerant of others beliefs. I look to Mother Nature for solace. Beautifully penned sorenbarrett. Happy Tuesday.
Thank you Cassie for the read and comment I too look to nature as a wise and higher evolved god.
It's KP that causes all the problems! Well, I blame her anyway, even if she doesn't cause them. lol.
Thanks so much Orchi appreciate the read
Beautiful.put into poetic verse. What a captivating way to look at (god) more of an existence to nature. Stunning dear friend. ๐น
Thank you Teddy So appreciate your comments and hope your day is bright
And thanks to God, we have love. It doesn't get any better than that. Great write soren. ๐
Thanks Accidental appreciate the read
I am sure there will be many who find these well placed words reassuring .. I personally like them for what they are .. a poem filled with optimism and hope .. as both a Buddhist and as an individual free thinker, who loves nature .. I feel compelled to try and cover all bases .. Neville ๐
Thanks Neville for the read and supportive words. I find comfort in nature and feel it has been around a lot longer than man or any religion although I tend to hold some pan physicism ideas. Maybe I am covering the bases as well. Thanks again
Very fine words soren.
Andy
Thanks Gold appreciate the review and comment
I sure wish I had some of your optimism. Todays world has me leaning more towards almost despair. Rats.
Thanks for the read and most kind words. I look at things this way: I only go through life once. If I'm not happy I'm wasting time.
