She tried heroin on a bet.
Once hooked 'twas her only outlet.
Played bareback HIV roulette.
To her regret, to her regret.
```
Monkey on her back not restrained.
Hard as she tried it still remained.
Through drugs her life was slowly drained.
Can't be maintained, can't be maintained.
```
Right from the start she was 'his prize'.
All that he promised were just lies.
Devils advocate in disguise,
brought her demise, brought her demise~

Loved the way this unfolded and the rhyme was nicely done to add great emphasis to the message.

THANKS for visiting
happy you enjoyed.
Addiction is a terrible
disease, yes...
Best regards ✌️ Thad
The repetition works so well here Thad in this sorry tale. Sadly addiction is so common and I have known several who have taken this path. They didn’t all survive either. So very nicely composed and exoressed with feeling. Happy Saturday.
