Proceeding To Praise

orchidee

Tune: Doncaster

('Put thou thy trust in God')

Psalm 108 v.1-5

********

O Lord, my heart is fixed

Steadfast on you, not mixed

With worldly things, I will sing, praise

You, and will you up raise

Awake, instruments, make

Joyful noise for His sake

I myself will awake early

To praise the Lord, so be

I will praise you among

The people, praise be sung

To you among the nations, for

You are great God, 'tis sure

For your mercy is great

Above the heavens your state

Is that your truth reaches unto

The clouds, for high are you

O God, exalted be

Above heavens, lands, seas

Your glory [is] above all the earth

Be honoured, given worth
