Simply changing how we think about things can make all the difference in the world as to how we feel. Ignorance is bliss. That's why I know nothing. Great write
Teddy
Awe thank you dearest sorrenbarret alas bittersweet as I\'m not actually returning to my home on London, but to that in Florence, I always miss home. 🌹
It's the contrast between what is and is not. One can have two homes which both pull at one's heart.
How very true dear Thoughtless thank you so much. 🌹
You're welcome.
Find an escape anyway you can, Teddy. Especially if it is London; what can I tell you - go for it.
For me, that would be the London of the '60's and 70's - not so sure of right now.
Thanks for the memories....💗
I know, I wouldn't want to live in London probably ever again but after I've been on a fab island I always imagine the thought of going home to Heathrow even for a moment, I totally agree I wouldn't want to at the moment just in my dream. Thank you so much dear Dave. 🌹
How long before slumberbash is found in the OED? I now have a new word that I shall use repeatedly. There is a gentle sweetness in this verse that I just love. Excellent write dear Teddy!
LOL this time next year, I'll be a millionaire 🤣 sometimes I wish I could leave the island to go home home, alas I have a wonderful life. Thank you darling Bella for noticing the In-between of this. 💙
Dear Teddy, I love how you can turn the everyday ordinary into something so poetic. Hope you had a beautiful holiday and feel well rested. Your posted image of London in the rain, takes me back many years. I prefer to remember it as it once was. Have a wonderful Wednesday 🌹
Dearest Cassie, thank you so much for such kind words, indeed I too would love to remember my home town in the 90's where I had my most favourite times, todays UK isn't what I remember at all. Biggest of hugs 🤗
