In just one single moment it was all taken away
everything I ever knew
everything I ever took for granted about life
It never crossed my mind
but looking back now
I realize, I was young and naive
nothing wrong with that
all I know now, is this...
when we are put in that deep dark place
we have to learn to fight the force
clinging to every single possible exit
because even on our darkest days
the light can seep through the cracks
eventually, overcrowding
that, in which is dark
to be reborn, to be stronger on the inside
and that will simply make everything shine
Including who I am on the outside.

Excellent write
Thank you. 🌹
You're welcome
The inner light becomes an outer glow. Smiles of the heart on the outside grow. Love for what lies within is shown to others through a compassionate grin. Sorry for the ramble but your poem just brought this out. Such a great message to be sent. Lovely
You are a beautiful soul my friend, 🌹 thank you.
Good advice. Timely message. When we are young, we either think we are immortal or have already lived too long. Thanks for sharing these thoughts.
Amazing how you see this, I guess if you don't know all my work it wouldn't be obvious but this is about losing some very important people when I was young, and I often talk about my grief through my work, this one is about coming through the other side after the loss. I love your take on this I'm Amy case. Thank you so much dear Thoughtless 🌹
Beautifully written
Thank you so much. 🌹
Tremendous work. Magnificent. You nailed it.
Thank you dearest Thomas. 🌹
Those dark days of loss are so incredibly painful. They have to be worked through. No short cuts. You can measure the love by the strength of the pain experienced. Sometimes that can feel intolerable. And then a glimpse of light. Yes like being reborn. Super writing dear Teddy. I felt these words deeply. 🌹
Means so much your words dearest Cassie, thank you from the very bottom of my heart. 🌹
Where do you buy such optimism? I'll take a bushel of it! Nice work.
I was thinking the same thing about myself, thank you dear Dan, I've always been although sometimes it's been so hard to bring it to the surface. So glad you felt it thank you. 🌹
The light will always find its way inot your life Teddy as it always does to mine.
