I often pretend that i’m someone that i’m not.
I enjoy pretending, some days more than others,
Maybe im working a secret job, or am a knight, or a detective,
Or have to quickly finish my tasks before the earth implodes.
a great actor, I am. you don't know, I'm quite famous, here inside my
head
my dreams
safe sanctuary where
I live too often.

Makes me think of the secret life of Walter Mitty
Excellent write
thank you
You're welcome
You're fun, but that's our category in life. We're artists and have is it melodramatic lives? I told my late mother I was NOT melodramatic but genuine.
I suppose you are right
We try to be someone we're not because we try to mingle with the people and the standards. Different versions of us come forth among different people. And the most admirable version of us would be the one in our imagination.
Couldn't be any righter! So very relatable!
beautiful thoughts to which I agree and thank you
lol this is brilliant, just today I was pretending I was in a Motown show live music and all the greats like Smokie Robinson beside me, hey why not! brilliant, i love the creativity and I really love your title, it's hilarious everyone will want to see what's behind it and I'm sure like me they will be highly entertained 🌹
