Water of Life

orchidee

Tune: St Michael

('The Lord is risen indeed')

John 4 v.13-15

*******

The water Jesus gives

Whoe'er drinks ever lives

For the water of life it be

Now and eternally

They who of this water

Do drink, shall it is sure

Never thirst, for it a supply

Is that never runs dry

It shall be as a well

Or fountain, we may tell

That springs up from within us to

Everlasting life true

A woman Jesus met

Said, Give me even yet

Of this water, so then I shall

Not thirst from this life-well

May we, Lord, drink of you

As that woman did too

So fed and watered we shall be

Each day perpetually

Heehee thanks Gold. I was at that wedding in Cana of Galilee when Jesus changed the water into wine. Then I came along and turned it back into water. Well, I added water to it, even if I didn't do it miraculously. lol.
