The golden roses, will fade into dull browns,
Soon, as the season drags on but for now,
The late afternoons spent gazing at polaroid picture perfect
Clouds, the sun spills its golden innards across the sky
And feel the last few rays of heat, humidity, emerald green
Grass and days spent rolling the windows down all the way.
I suppose i should box away these memories, nostalgia for
Cold winter nights spent buried under feet of snow.
Grab the stem, cut away
Flower for another day
Pressed between pages dry in array
Flower for another day
scarborough fair, golden celebration, summer damask.

You're welcome
Well voiced, the last five lines push this into great work territory.
