A violet haze crowns the sky monarch lays down to die
A burial pyre is ignited in fire as darkness takes his place
Shadows of gossamer weigh down the eye
Faded memories leave their trace
Dawn’s breath a fog of night
Swirls around the breast of hills
And timber hairs stand in fright
As those of might their lust fulfills
The gray stone wall In shadows grows black
Breathe deep the dawn’s emerging light
Green the fields of Elysium, buried come back
Soon fade to gold, new life ignite

Your welcome!
Good write SB.
What I want to know now is - Does the No.7 bus go too Elysium? lol. Or it might be the No.10 bus. heehee.
Not sure but I heard it’s running late. Thank you, my friend for the read and the comment.
It'll be happening in the future - yes? Buses to Mars and back, etc? lol.
This has echos of, what, optimistic paganism? Your usual fine imagery. But "Elysium"? goes the opposite way.
Thank you, Dan for the review and assessment. Yes I often combine a collage ranging from paganism to various different religions and nature worship. I find them all evolutions of basically the same thing. The remarks are most appreciated and valued.
Wonderful words soren, that light will always be in your life.
Andy
