A touch

Neilton

Just a touch

Into the dark

Just a light

To guide me at night

A place with no life

Full of soldiers of the night

You came at the right

Moments with no insight

Infertile land

Right into the dark

A swarm of underground rats

Against the "beast" with a heart

Something pulled me back

A flame , a generous hand

It was his touch

His warmth and laugh

He just took me by the hand

Guided me through the dark

The grass was soft ,full of warmth

The air was clear, jubilant

That spark of light in the darkness is hope. It came when needed in this poem. We all need that beacon when we are in trouble. What a significant difference it can make.

You are absolutely right ! Sometimes you feel like giving up but you see the light at the end of the tunnel and it gives you hope and strength to continue! Thank you so much Cassie for stopping by!!

Very lovely and inspiring, whelling into jubilant rejoicing, only so softly and almost subtly as if it'd been a secret which manifested what the soul was yearning to own.
