The Tears

M.E.M.

I cried.

It’s been a long time since I last cried.

I can’t even remember the last time.

 

This cry was due to stress

The anxiety of never having

a fulfilling career

Of

getting my own place

 

I cried hard,

but not long.

I’m sure there are still more tears

I must shed. They just won’t come

      This isn’t based on a prompt. It had just been a long time since I last cried which made this time very impactful.
      Hopefully more optimistic ones in the future.
