Hold On Tight

Teddy.15

Life is a rollercoaster of highs and lows

and we should all remember that
because
sometimes the ride
is a bit more bumpier
than others
and it's those times we have to hold on tighter

hoping the wheels don't completely derail

leaving us crushed or worse dead.

Very nice Teddy yes we have paid the price to ride so one might as well enjoy it. The ride is over soon enough.

Exactly thank you dearest sorrenbarret 🌹

I'm never getting on a roller coaster again. Thanks a lot.
No seriously, this is a true description of life. A wonderful poem that reaches to teach of life's ups and downs. We all go along for the ride, but there are always those who insist on standing up, or not wearing their seat belt, and choose to go for a second ride. Not this kid. Much enjoyed your poem. - Phil A.

        Thank you dearest Phil. 🌹

So true Teddy. Roller coaster life it is. I never much enjoyed fun fair rides but we have to deal with whatever comes our way. All things eventually pass. Have a glorious weekend dear poet 🌹

Highs and lows, agreed, but going so quickly from "a little bumpier" to
"crushed or worse , dead" seems a little harsh. But then life can be just like that I guess.

          Thank you dear Dan. 🌹

Keep holding on Teddy as I have all my long life, the thoughts in your heart and mind just keep strengthening you.
