Pretty in Purple and Pink
I think it only fair to say,
most of her life
is spent hidden away or
otherwise hiding ..
It would seem she has an
exceptional fear
of intruders, explorers
and so many
other natural fun seekers ..
She may look like a bean
but tastes much
like a prawn and she’s
always hiding ..
Not because she is shy,
or really
that mega anxious at all ..
But because,
she hasn’t realised yet
Just how much
joy she can give, or how
much, she can get ..
Or how pretty she is in
both purple
and pink and for one
moment
at least, would do well
to consider
really letting herself go ..

The release of inhibitions can be hard to overcome. She seemed extreme in a lot of her ways. Her beauty and charms were worth the challenge though.
A sensual poem that builds to a release of its own, (your last line). It speaks well of her. and let's hope she finally did "let go." - Phil A.
It all happened so very quickly .. its one of only two times ever that I have been held hostage .. but yes, she was rather pretty and of course, memorable .. Cheers Phil, Neville
