A swollen river of chocolate right below my feet
and “la primavera” of Mozart
Played by an orchestra of bumble bees
a purple hedgehog singing
“She loves you yeh, yeh, yeh”
to a swan who was singing back
“baby don’t you dare”
crocodile sitting by the marshmallow creek
wearing my sun hat, as I turn to look closer
he smiles at me and winks
a flying saucer, flown by an alien
waving down at me
naughty granny jumping
off the caramel springboard
into a bright confetti sea
a giraffe painting an up-side-down rainbow
for all to admire
there’s a bright blue frog
balancing on a tight rope wire
and the town clock that’s sits
upon the oldest living tree
tic-tocking backwards, oh yes
and me?
I’m floating upon the old woman’s shoe
drifting
deeper and deeper
into this beautiful dream.

What a wonderful dreamscape you have painted here. Full of vibrant imagery and lsd type of experiences. Not that I have ever tried lol, but I got a real feel here of the Beatles and Sargeant Pepper. I enjoyed the bright, sunny aspect. Not a hint of darkness or violence . What sweet dreams you have Teddy. A wonderful uplifting read for a Monday morning. So full of child imges that I was taken back to the days of my infant grandchildren, my own small children, and my childhood. Filled with nursery rhymes and Disney I feel rejuvinated.
