Along Our River we walked,
The beautiful clear green water at our side
Gliding so gently passed us.
The mirror images of the trees
Looking up from it in glory.
We walked along it in awe,
In awe of the beauty around us.
Looking up at the clear blue sky
With pure white clouds sailing,
Sailing so very gently above us.
What could have been better,
The beauty of Nature’s wonder
As Our River, the trees and the sky
Surrounded us with love,
Combined with our love,
The wonderful love we have,
The love we have for each other.

A fine write Gold.
Thank you Orchi.
Between you and the water bailiff the towpath is clearly gonna be kept in tip top condition .. and so smooth, I bet you could amongst other things, even play croquet on it .. A lovely meander Andy .. Neville
It certainly was a lovely meander Neville, such a beautiful afternoon all around. Thank you for your kind words.

The wholesomeness of this, truly is heart-hugging indeed Andy.
The scene that you have poetically painted, of the walk you and Mary had, surely should be a beacon to us all, to stop making such dangerous and painful decisions, and to just appreciate the love, that is plainly and simply on display.
Bravo, and I hope that all is well.
Very much appreciated Ben, the good things in life are there for us all and they are so simple for us to enjoy. Thank you for your kind words.

You are very welcome Andy.
May such garish overcomplication; be diluted by blissful simplicity!
A life of love and happiness meant for two such as both of you. 🌹🌹
It certainly is AP, thank you.

I can’t think of anything nicer than a beautiful walk by the river on a sunny day with the one you love. Very much related to this write Andy. The Thames is very close to us. A very scenic part of the county.
We do enjoy it very often Cassie, the river is The Avon and I have been walking along it fairly regularly for the passed 25 years. Thank you for your kind words.

Amen. When I am asked what religion I am I answer "Nature". This is nice.
Such a wonderful reply Dan, Nature is the beginning and end of life. Thank you.
