She was a beautiful lady
something just kept her
from her perfect life?
she lived alone, with five cats
I never ever saw her with anyone
she did smile, on rare occasions
her clothes perfectly pressed
I'd go as far to say, she was always colour coordinated too
her shoes always looked freshly polished
and her handbag
big enough for keys and some money
one day I saw her
eating at a restaurant alone on a corner table
I was sat with my fifth glass of rosé a few tables down
in company that was truly abysmal in so many ways
not to mention it was always me that picked up the bill
so there I was in my own little world reflecting
and it suddenly struck me...
maybe she was actually living her best life, her most perfect life?
and it was in fact I
who lived with the imperfections?
after all, my shoes are never perfectly polished
and I’m never colour coordinated
but I do smile a lot.

Keep smiling Teddy.
Andy
Always dear Andy, always ๐น
A fifth glass Teddy? Thatโs nearly a whole bottle lol. Drowning in sorrows. You are of course spot on here. I donโt feel sorry for that highly polished woman at all. Sheโs got time for herself. Good luck to her. Iโm so busy running around everyone else, I canโt even remember where my shoes are, but hey, I keep smiling too. Gotta smile and no oneโs life is perfect. Have a great day dear Teddy ๐น
Ok you got me more like 10 ๐คฃ yes as usual such a wonderful review, I'm smiling now and I'll be smiling for the rest of the day, thank you dearest Cassie. If I could describe myself it would be Cinderella but before she got to go to the ball. LoL I wouldn't change it for nowt ๐น
Iโm sure that after two days of sitting perfectly dressed and polished at an empty table, I too would be ready to run home ๐

Great insight into a deep thought. We all judge others by ourselves when we can't see ourselves very clearly. We impose our values on others and then judge them by it. So nicely said Teddy
Wow so nice said you dearest sorrenbarret, where I live if I was cared of what they thought I really world be a hermit ๐คฃ thank you dear friend. ๐น
Love it Teddy

Oh yeh I'm not perfect but a smile I can always pull. ๐คฃ Thank you dearest A.P ๐น
Looks pretty perfect from my viewpoint. ๐
what a wonderful story Teddy...
am losing count of the times you have put a smile on my face.
and yes, perhaps at times we judge what we know very little of.
I have learnt much from you Teddy.
and am most grateful.
Thank you dearest Melvin likewise my dear friend. ๐น More of these smiles we all need to wear I reckon. ๐น ๐
Simply beautiful. I love it.
Thank you dearest Thomas ๐น
I think I have been colour coordinated maybe twice in my life, probably by accident. This lady had the right ideas though. Nice.
Awe, thank you dear Dan. ๐น
