Too heavy my shadow's weight
Can you hear the echo of its fall?
On my back the burden of fate
Each inch of time, a click of the pawl
Shade of night crushing my breath
a dark knot around my throat
My shadow's weight lifted by death
as I board Charon's boat

I read where at death a small fraction of weight ca ne measured. The soul, maybe. Fate nicely resolved.
