Shooting Pool into the night
Trying to pluck a monied trick
Keep the win close, or he’ll take flight
Life with no sympathy is strict.

Good write Jerry.
Thanks, Orchi.
I have led such a sheltered life .. never once knowingly hustled .. I do so love these tiddlers Jez .. N
Thanks, Neville. Me neither, but a dear friend was and he regretted it later in life.
Never was good enough to hussel but smart enough to know I was not good so as not to be husseled. Loved the wording that husseled me into loving this piece
Thanks, SB. I was not either but a dear friend kept me away from it by kicking my ass over and over.
I can hustle at the local market 🤣 on a serious note, if you'll pardon my pun, gambling is a very bad sport.
Thanks, Teddy. Yes, it is.
Those people are everywhere who want to strip you of your assets Jerry.
Andy
Thanks, Andy. Yes, they are.
I think I met this guy, more than once. Good work.
Thanks, Dan. We all have in one way or another.
