I have a steady ringing in my ears,
Been at peace with it for years.
Lying in bed at 2:48am,
Guess I'll do some writing then.
Time is moving rather fast,
God please, just let me ask.
When will righteousness return?
For it, my heart does yearn,
Trying to avoid a lake of fire burn.
Before 2020 nothing made sense,
Stopping negative thoughts with mind defence.

    doubts will always creep in, but i agree that after 2020 our way of looking at things has changed a lot..good write- makes one sit up and think

    You won't need to fear any lake of fire if you've believed in Jesus and accepted Him as your Saviour.
    Meanwhile - will it return at 2:49am? (heehee).

    Me has tinnitus so have played not one, but multiple things simultaneously in my personal space to try to distract me from said high-pitched ringing. That aside, this is superb. I ask the same day and night. Beautifully rendered with a haunting poignancy and excellent details. Thank you very much for sharing.

      Thanks a lot, I think you can get medication for it but I've never bothered.
