Fall Foliage

Fall Foliage

A gasp at the fiery red brilliant display

Golden leaves like the bright sun array

A spectacular show put on by the Fall

Grandeur on display come one, come all

Nature closes the chapter on summer time

A chill fills the air as the old bells chime

Soon bare trees will have lost their breath

These beautiful colors shall lead to death

In the last and dying days is beauty

Alas these leaves have done their duty

Time for the year to pay its tollage

The fare shall be some fine Fall Foliage

Lovely with choice imagery and apt poignancy, rendered to effect and akin to the offerings of the season invoked and upon us. Beautiful. Thank you very much for sharing.
