From Without, From Within

orchidee

Singing will resume sometime....

'As long you're not singing it, Orchi', you reply? (lol)

Mark 7 v.18-23

Thoughts on some Bible verses -

Jesus saying - it's not the things from 'outside' that defile a person

But the things from 'within'

Yet humans are capable of doing a lot of good

As well as a lot of evil

But it's from within, He says

Come evil thoughts, adulteries, murders, etc

There's thirteen things listed in all

Maybe part of the origin of superstitious number thirteen

Probably all springing from 'evil thoughts'

The only way our hearts and minds can be changed

Is by salvation through Jesus

Only way to be made new within

The phrase 'born again' or 'born from above'

Our spirits dead in sin before we come to Christian faith

But our spirits 'born' as we repent and turn to God

Because - the beginning of a life is birth - one is born

Yet also being alive in the womb before birth too

This is how I see it

Though it may seem a 'spiritual' answer or remedy

I can't see no other way

No lasting way anyway

That true peace can or will come to this world
